Buford Brush Tying Kit
First up in our line of fly tying kits, this pack will allow you to tie the classic Buford.
This kit contains the essentials you need to tie either four Single Buford flies, or two Double Buford flies.
- Four Bucktail Brushes
- One All Purpose Schlappen Pack (choose grizzly or natural/White)
- Four 55mm Stainless Steel Shanks
- Four B10S Stinger 4/0 Hooks
- Four Stainless Split Rings
- 1 W&M Sticker
We suggest making each fly your own by adding additional All Purpose Schlappen tailing feathers or grab a Wing Pack to add cheeks or dorsal fins. You are the artist here, why not put your signature on it?
To complete this kit, you should have on your bench:
Thread (GSP or other heavy deer hair worthy equivalent)
Bucktail for the rudder of each shank
Flash
UV Head cement or Super Glue
Split Ring Tool (to help add the hooks to the split rings)
Please note: Bucktail is a natural material (it's what we love about it), so you may see some variation in color and fiber length. Rest assured your flies will still fish!
